The Path to Financial Freedom Starts Here

Did you know that only five states require high school students to complete a semester-long personal finance course before graduation?* It’s true! With this level of financial education, it’s no wonder Americans are feeling lost when it comes to how to best manage their money. That’s why Churchill Mortgage is proud to be closing the gap in financial education.

At Churchill, we are committed to educating our clients with one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. Through tools like our Smarter Mortgage Plan, Free Mortgage Evaluation, and customized educational workshops, we are able to empower our clients with the knowledge they need to make the right decision for their unique financial situation. Now, we have the opportunity to educate Americans earlier so they can set themselves up for lifelong success.

This year Churchill Mortgage is proud to support four local high schools in their effort to educate students by providing them with Ramsey Solutions’ Foundations in Personal Finance. This high school curriculum is designed to teach students how to avoid debt, budget with intention, invest, and build wealth so they can live generously. The program has been taught in one-in-three high schools nationwide and has empowered more than three million students to make sound financial decisions for life.

Every parent who comments about the course materials is extremely positive and states, 'I wish I had been taught this information when I was in school.' We've been able to have great discussions on students, education, and financial matters because of the Dave Ramsey materials.

— James G., Teacher

As part of our sponsorship of Ramsey Solutions’ Financial Literacy Month campaign, we are able to provide four local high schools with a full curriculum of Foundations in Personal Finance. It is a great honor for us to announce that the schools receiving this curriculum are Brentwood High School - Brentwood, TN, Pine Creek - Colorado Springs, CO, South Ridge High School - Portland, OR, and Newberry High School - Greenwood, SC.
