5 Real Estate Conferences Top Earners Don't Miss

Are you a Realtor looking to stay at the top of your game? Perhaps the current competitive market has you wanting to expand your knowledge to help clients win a bidding war.

No matter the reason, investing in continuing education will always be helpful for your career as a real estate professional. Here are some real estate conferences we think will be beneficial to new and veteran agents alike and tips for how to make the most of them.

1. Inman
Inman is always at the forefront with news for real estate agents and trends. Their knowledge and expertise make them the perfect candidate to host conferences for Realtors. With both digital and in-person options, it’s a no-brainer for real estate agents! Inman Connect conferences are known for great networking and exploration of the ever-evolving world of residential real estate. They also offer separate events for those who work in luxury events as well as many one day online events with varying topics. Learn more here.

2. National Association of Realtors (NAR)
With conventions, conferences, expos, and summits NAR has plenty of options for you to expand your real estate knowledge. Not only do they offer these events in many locations, but they have a wide array of topics including industry insight, technology, and commercial real estate. In fact, the NAR conference is the biggest Realtor conference held each year! To learn more and see which of their conferences may be right for you, click here.

3. RE/MAX R4
The team at RE/MAX wants to help real estate professionals continue to “navigate the new normal innovatively” after seeing the rapid changes in the real estate market the past couple years. They also ensure that their events keep Realtors aware of every trend headed their way while holding onto the basics of real estate success. They are offering both online and in-person options for their event. You can see a list of featured speakers for their 2022 event here.

4. Keller Williams Mega Camp
Keller Williams hosts a Realtor camp with guest speakers, breakout sessions, and more. Interviewing top real estate agents and helping you remember your “why,” Keller Williams gives insight into the innovative ways you can stay competitive in the real estate profession. They even host a “Clash of the Closers” where their top objection-handlers battle it out in live, unscripted real-life scenarios. 5. Success Summit
Tom Ferry hosts Success Summit each year, with 2021’s theme focused on evolution. He’s given a digital option to his in-person events as of late, but you can still feel all the energy as an online attendee. Providing you with ways to “future proof” your business, Tom and his team want you to know his exact tips and tricks to stand out as the real estate market becomes more competitive. The event for this year may have already taken place, but you can still watch on demand here.

How to make the most out of the conferences you attend:

  • Make a list of what you’re hoping to learn.
By doing this, you’ll have a better idea of what to focus on while there. Yes, listening the whole time will be helpful, but there will be sessions that stand out more than others. Deciding ahead of time which speakers you most want to hear and what breakout sessions you want to attend, you’ll be able to carve out time to respond to any calls or emails you may have missed.
  • Network.
You never know who you’re going to meet at a conference! Take the time to learn about your fellow attendees. You may meet a mentor or future co-worker. Even if nothing comes of it, practicing your networking skills is always a good idea and there’s no better place than a room of your peers!
  • Send a note
If you’re attending virtually (or in person) reach out with a note of thanks to any speakers that stood out to you. Let them know what they taught you and give them the opportunity to follow up with you. Just like with networking, you never know where that simple email can take you.
  • Ask questions
This is especially important when in smaller groups. Don’t be afraid to lead with your curiosity. You’ve invested money into this event, and you deserve to have your questions answered. The only way you can feel educated is if you feel clear on what you’re being taught.
  • Listen
As a Realtor, you already have a lot of knowledge on your industry, but there’s always more to learn. Use your time at conferences wisely and dive into the subject matter. Every new detail you learn will help you stand out to your clients!
